About the Travel Advisory Office
The Travel Advisory Office is part
of the Monash Procurement unit in the Financial Resources Management
Division.
The role of the Travel Advisory
Office is to -
- Act as
a point of contact and provide advice to staff and postgraduate students
on travel related matters;
- Manage the account
between Monash University and the University's preferred Travel
Management Company (currently HRG Australia and Voyager Travel Corporation)
and monitor the performance of the TMCs;
- Manage
other strategic accounts with preferred airlines, hotels and car
rental companies;
- Liaise with travel managers
in other universities on travel related issues;
- Administer
the operation of the Flightlock
traveller locator system
