Monash University appoints a 2nd travel manager - Voyager Travel Corporation
Monash University is proud to announce
that it has appointed Voyager Travel Corporation as an endorsed supplier
for travel management services. We therefore welcome Voyager to the
University's Travel Management panel of suppliers.
Background
In 2006, the University's Travel
Advisory Office conducted an online survey of travel users. The survey
identified that there was a strong desire for travellers be given
a choice of travel provider ( TMC ).
As a consequence of the survey, the University commenced a tender
process to select a second TMC . The result of that tender
is that Voyager Travel Corporation
(Voyager) will commence servicing Monash University from 2
nd July 2007. They will complement the services
already being provided by HRG Australia.
Voyager
also has an online booking service, facilitated by Serko,
which can also be used to book domestic travel and to maintain personal
profiles.
When can you start using Voyager?
From July 2007, Monash travellers
will then have the option of choosing HRG or Voyager for any particular
travel booking.
