Financial Resources Management Division (FiRM) provides advice, consultation and assistance to the University community regarding financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, strategic sourcing, as well as SAP HR and payroll advice.
The division develops and recommends financial policies, strategies, plans and programs for meeting current and future needs of the university. The services offered by FiRM include (but are not limited to):

Development of the budget for the university

Assist in student load planning and monitoring

Fees and pricing policy management and advice

Management of the University's insurance programmes

Legal compliance for the Insurance Contracts Act and Customs Act

Finance systems maintenance, reporting and monitoring

Executive reporting
Our 28 staff are located in various locations across the University in Clayton and Caulfield. This ensures University portfolios are provided with onsite support. Around half of our staff is located at 710 Blackburn Road.
